PC World recently released what they thought were the 10 Funniest Sites on the Internet. The lists does contain a few gems such as Engrish, FoundMagazine, and Overheard in New York but overall I think PC world was a bit sloppy in their research. I would have enjoyed their list much more if it included these bits of hilarity:

• Marry Our Daughter - for those who need it.
• NiggaSpace - to prove your stupidity or brag about your street cred.
• The Brick Testament - for all those lego bible thumpers
  
• The Best Page in the Universe - because it is.

How can you title a list “The funniest sites on the net” and not put Maddox on it? He has consistently had the best site on the net since 1998. I would go so far as to even say that he was the internet’s first real blogger, and you know Maddox don’t fool around with no typepad or wordpress bullshit either.

I have to admit, I did expect more from PC World because they have provided some great lists in the past.

“2008- it gots to be great” 

Last night we updated the site to add many of the features mentioned in the “10 features you want” and the “10 bugs that bug.” We will be doing one more update before we go public with Beta (scheduled for the first week of January, in the year of our Lord 2008), that should include a PDA / Smartphone / iphone version of the site.

Here’s what to look for on the latest and greatest update:

• We improved the depiction of the “keeper / loser” votes by grouping it all together as “worthiness”. We will update the FAQ to describe its function as well.
• We added a way to look at lists for a given web site in the listgasm directory http://listgasm.com/web_sites/
• Since we have yet to pick a slogan, we decided to pick some of our favorites and have them rotate with each page load. (Refresh the page to check it out!)
• We added “Classic Lists” and “Lists That Change” links to the left side of the page and took out the separator lines.
• Users now have the ability to comment on any blog entry.

As always, any feedback is appreciated so please let us know what we can do to improve listgasm!

AT&T has released the top downloaded ringtones for 2007.  Notice how all of them except Nicklecrap are all Hip-Hop?

Looks to me like a list of the worst music of 2007. Great job AT&T for makin’ that skrilla (profit) and a bigger kudos goes out to the record industry for making money of this crap? *2007 another declining year for the record industry, but you can see why if you just listen to any of the above excuses for music.

The holidays and time off from all of our “Real” jobs have slowed things down a bit at the listgasm headquarters…the lists are still crankin and spankin but the blog has slowed down.
